Daniela Simões has a B.Sc. degree in Medicinal Chemistry, and a M.Sc. degree in Applied Pharmacology, both from Coimbra University. Now, she is developing work at CY-Sensors project, with the aim of obtaining a photonic-based biosensor for cianobacterial toxins detection.
